Free Clothing

Everyone likes to get free clothing including men, women, teens and kids. Clothing offers have always been among the most popular giveaway listings on our site. From socks to caps to the grand daddy of free clothes offers, T-shirts, they are cherished by all who apply and receive them. Just the thought of going to their mailbox and finding that they've received a clothing freebie they applied for gets most free stuff junkies giddy.

You may be asking yourself right now, why would any company want to give away free clothing? Well, sometimes it’s to introduce a new line, style or fabric, but in most cases it’s a promotional offer of some sort. These promotional offers vary greatly from company to company and we never know when they're going to happen. A company may give away t-shirts or caps for signing up to their website, agreeing to receive their email newsletter, or even completing a product survey. Please note that most, if not all of these freebies come with a company logo on them. That logo may be just a small graphic or with some text like the company name, address, contact information etc. On a t-shirt, polo or sweatshirt the graphics and/or text is usually placed above the top right breast area. However, many t-shirt, polo or sweatshirt freebies are plastered with information like their website address, product lines and more, so in essence the clothing becomes a walking billboard of advertising for them. The reason we spent so much time on this is because many people think they’ll be getting a blank, solid colored new t-shirt, ball cap, sweatshirt or polo when they apply for one of these offers. If that's the case, they're going to be very disappointed when it comes. Our feeling on the whole text and logo issue is hey, who cares, it’s free right?

There are a couple of clothing sample offers that usually do not have any logos or other printing on them. These include socks, under garments and baby clothing items. Let’s face it, printing a company logo on a bra would be really tacky. Plus, who would be able to see it? If you come across any of these offers without graphics or text, grab them quick as they tend to only be around for a few hours before companies run out of stock. These items are offered for the same reasons as above, i.e., a new line, style, fabric or for promotional purposes.

There is one more important thing to consider when applying for a free clothes offer. While other sample offers have a fairly good fulfillment history, e.g., when you apply for them, you usually get them, clothing offers do not. We don't know why this is. It may be that of all the other free offers out there, a free clothing giveaway campaign is the most expensive for a company to run. Also, they tend to go really fast. For this reason, companies sometimes leave the offers up after they have run out of stock. For whatever reasons, please be aware going in that your success rate on actually receiving one of these freebies is far less than any other offer.

The bottom line is that free clothing offers are a “catch as catch can” proposition for all freebie hunters. You have to be vigilant in seeking the offers out and jumping on them as fast as you can. Even then, sometimes it's not enough to actually score one. However, once you are lucky enough to apply for and receive your first free t-shirt, cap or whatever, you’ll be hooked and you'll begin to keep an eagle eye out for them in the future.
