The GIMP for Windows
The GIMP is an excellent freeware image editing program originally created for Linux and ported to the Windows operating system by the developer. GIMP is now open source which means it is being added to and improved by numerous independent programmers. The program is loaded with advanced features and can do everything that the expensive commercial programs like Adobe Photoshop and CorelDraw can do...and in some cases...even more. Please note that the GIMP is very powerful and feature rich program. With any application like this there is a learning curve. However, if you are willing to invest the time in learning how to run The GIMP, you will not only be rewarded with excellent image editing capabilities but will have saved hundreds of dollars in software costs. We think it's well worth the investment.
