Everybody likes something for nothing. On the Internet, our High tech correspondent Mike Wendland has found a website that can keep your mailbox filled with free stuff for months.

This may not be the slickest looking site you'll find on the Internet, but if you want freebies...then the "CoolFreebieLinks" site (http://www.coolfreebielinks.com) is your cyberspace goldmine.

This is the Mother of All Freebie sites...here you can find links to more than 400 free sweepstakes, contests, coupon and promotional giveaway sites. What makes this site so worthwhile is that all the freebies offerings are reviewed and rated, and screened for legitimacy and offensive content. There's even a section on so-called "dangerous" sites that are scams and come-ons, places pretending to giveaway things but charging exorbitant fees for shipping and handling...or places that scam your e-mail address and then sell it to bulk Internet advertisers.

What can you find? Under auto freebies...free lubricants.

Under Baby freebies, free coupons for dollars off Beechnut baby food.

Under Health and Beauty freebies, there's free shampoo and skin conditioning samples.

Think of this site as a search engine for free stuff. They're always adding new sites, removing the old and making sure that what's promised, is delivered.
