Audioblast is a freeware program to edit sounds. The program works with WAV-files, but can also open and save
MP3 and WV. The program is a little slow, but it can do really cool things with your sounds. It has all the

creaking, echo, volume control, reverse and shrink. It also has an unlimited Undo-function. The program
interface allows for sound files to be displayed in several ways including the two channels of a stereo sound

for quite some time now. We're happy to say we've found one! vanBasco's Karaoke Player is a 100% ad-free,
no-nag freeware program that plays Karaoke and standard MIDI files. It's main interface is completely
customizable. You can change colors, fonts, number of lines (up to four) and background images. Lyrics can be
displayed in full-screen. You can change and recall tempo, volume, and key of a song, and mute or solo
instruments. The player is super easy to install and use and can be integrated with Internet Explorer or
Netscape.

Free Sound Utilities
TicTacTune
TicTacTune is a freeware audio frequency analyzer. TicTacTune reads sound from the system default microphone,
searches for the main frequency and presents the result. This presentation can be changed with a context menu
(a menu that appears when you press the right mouse button) and with some buttons placed in a toolbar above
the presentation area. It has built-in markers for guitar and banjo (5-stringed G) strings, with an option for
adding your own strings. The program has a super small digital footprint requiring only it's .exe file to run.

Volumouse
Volumouse is freeware and provides you a quick and easy way to control the sound volume on your system - simply
by rolling the wheel of your wheel mouse. It allows you to define a set of rules for determining when the
wheel will be used for changing the sound volume. For example: You can configure Volumouse to use your mouse
wheel for volume control when the Alt key is hold down, when the left mouse button is down, when the mouse
cursor is over the taskbar, and so on... When the conditions that you define are not satisfied, your mouse
wheel will be used for the regular scrolling tasks, exactly as before.
